Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has described Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, as his “dear elder brother” in a heartfelt birthday message shared on Tuesday.
In the message posted on his X account, Obi warmly congratulated the governor on the occasion of his birthday, praying for good health, strength, wisdom, and God’s continued guidance as he marks a new year.
The former Anambra State governor noted that birthdays are not only celebrations of life but also opportunities to reflect on the responsibilities and purpose that come with each passing year.
“As Governor Soludo marks another year today, I wish him good health, strength, wisdom, and God’s continued guidance,” Obi wrote.
He also prayed that the new year would bring the governor peace, fulfilment, and abundant blessings.
Obi concluded the message by wishing Soludo a happy birthday, referring to him as his “dear elder brother,” a remark that has drawn attention given the long-standing political relationship between the two Anambra leaders.
Governor Soludo, a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and the current governor of Anambra State, celebrated his birthday on Tuesday, receiving goodwill messages from political associates, supporters, and well-wishers across the country.
