A soldier was arrested for illegal ammunition possession in Borno State, Maiduguri.
The suspect identified as Nathaniel Jeremiah was taken into custody at the Borno express terminal park, Maiduguri while on welfare pass and en route to Adamawa state.
Making this known was an intelligence sources who told Zagazola Makama, a security analyst and counter insurgency expert about the arrest.
“The soldier was taken into custody and ammunition recovered were handed over to appropriate authorities for investigation” he said
Furthermore, while the suspect was searched, 89 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition which were in his hand bag were discovered by security operatives.
