A man has lost his life over an alleged quarrel over poo with his neighbor, in Rivers state.
According to the report by Nigerian Journalist, Allwell Ene who reported the incident on Wednesday, 5th February 2025, the deceased’s only offence was sitting in front of his house at the time.
Apparently, he had just returned from work and sat in front of his house when his female neighbor approached him and asked if he was the one that defecated at the back of the house. The confrontation turned into an altercation when the woman picked a stone and hit the deceased on the head and he passed away after he was rushed to different hospitals.
In the video of the incident which has gone viral, a male voice narrating the incident said;
“This is the eye witness, they were fighting and his neighbor picked stone and stoned him. We have taken him to two hospitals and they rejected him, when we took him to the third one they confirmed him dead.”
The man speaking in the video called on the police and Government to come to their aid saying the police had not arrived then even after promising them that they were coming.
However, the said neighbor’s identity was not revealed and no news yet whether she has been apprehended or not.
