Westerners hail Dr. Ogboro-Okor’s Appointment as Edo Diaspora Agency DG

Westerners Worldwide, a global network of Edo indigenes and Nigerians at large, has congratulated Dr. (Mrs.) Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor on her appointment as the Director-General of the Edo State Diaspora Agency (ESDA), describing it as a well-deserved recognition of her leadership, dedication, and passion for the development of Edo indigenes worldwide.
In a statement issued by Comrade Western Iyamu, The Supremo, Westerners Worldwide, the group described Dr. Ogboro-Okor as an “exceptional woman of substance” whose track record in medicine, humanitarian service, and diaspora engagement makes her the perfect fit for the role.
“Her appointment is not just a recognition of her sterling qualities but a testament to her lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and the empowerment of Edo indigenes across the globe,” Comrade Iyamu stated.
Describing the new ESDA DG as a renowned Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Medical Simulator Expert, and United Nations Eminent Ambassador, Westerners lauded her contributions as lead of the Edo Diaspora Working Group and the Edo State Focus Group Worldwide, where she has played a pivotal role in fostering unity and strengthening ties between Edo’s diaspora community and the state government.
“With her wealth of experience, intellect, and passion, we have no doubt that Dr. Ogboro-Okor will excel in this role. Her appointment signifies a new dawn for Edo’s global community, and we look forward to witnessing the transformative impact of her leadership,” the group added.
Westerners Worldwide reaffirmed its confidence in Dr. Ogboro-Okor’s ability to lead the Edo State Diaspora Agency effectively, ensuring that the interests of Edo indigenes abroad are well represented and catered to.
