Ex-president of Nigeria, Good luck Jonathan, has advised all the politicians in Nigeria to take a proper look at what Alex Otti is doing in Abia state and learn from him.
Represented by Dr. Godknows Igali, on Saturday, Jonathan made this call during the University of Port Harcourt’s 1980’s Alumni Reunion Dinner and Award ceremony in Umuahia.
At the party themed; “Celebrating Excellence and Service to Humanity,” being the special guest of honor, Jonathan stated that Otti came prepared.
“Before, in Abia State, once they say Aba made, people would laugh, but today, people are scrambling for Aba made.
“Let governance in Nigeria take a cue from what you are doing in Abia State; the intentionality of leadership – the leadership that was voted to make a change. Nigerian leaders should strive to make a change as Governor Alex Otti is making in Abia State,” he said.

In his remark, Alex Otti thanked the alumnus for their support and encouragement. He further promised to show them around the 200 Primary Health Centres, 221 schools, across the 184 wards of the State.
According to him, some of those centres are currently under reconstruction, renovation, upgrading, remodeling, and retrofitting and he affirmed that his dedication of his annual budget to education and health sectors of the state — 20% and 15%, respectively, is unchangeable.
The alumnus also toured some projects going on in the state and unanimously commended Otti’s administration.
