Donald Trump’s administration is reportedly likely to close down embassies and consulates — 50; across the world and Africa.
This was revealed in a leaked report in CNN news on Wednesday.
According to the internal state Department document, embassies in Congo, Central African Republic, Lesotho, and South Sudan, including south Africa are on the list.
Among the proposed 10 embassies and 17 consulates include those in Europe and Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.
“The list also includes five consulates in France, two in Germany, two in Bosnia and Herzegovina, one in the United Kingdom, one in South Africa, and one in South Korea,” the report added.
Notably, there has not been any form of official confirmation to this report as at the time of this report.
