A man identified as Chukwuka Nwosu has allegedly killed himself on Thursday, in Umudike Umuahia, Abia state.
The young man who hails from Itaja Obuohia in Olokoro, Umuahia South LGA, Abia State was said to have drove to a place, parked his Toyota Corolla and hung himself on a tree.
According to the report, he was found dead dangling from the tree. However, residents of the area have called out for proper investigation into the incident.
According to people who confirmed the lad’s identity, he hails from a well to do home and had not shown any signs of depression or anything.
Meanwhile, the police of state government are yet to make an official statement on the incident at the time of reporting as an eyewitness said the police visited the scene and evacuated the body after some traditional rites were performed by villagers.
