Ebonyi-Born Nigerian Nurse Found Dead in UK Apartment
The nursing association in Nigeria and the UK have been left in shambles following the death of Miss Nnenna Miriam who mysteriously died in her UK residence days after she travelled back from Nigeria.
According to the report and tributes from friends and colleagues, Miriam — an Ebonyi Indigene from Ezza, Abakaliki, had just travelled back to her base — the UK; when she suddenly died.
Different platforms, friends, families and well wishers have taken to different medium to express their grief.
According to friends, Miriam had just travelled back to the UK, to her residence in Leeds when — after her morning shift on Sunday of the previous week, she left work and would not be reached.
Friends at work were bothered and kept trying to reach her. However, as she couldn’t be reached for days, a friend of hers over the UK had to file a missing person report with the UK police.
While the police looked for her, they got to her apartment only to find her dead already.
Friends shared that Miriam had just returned from Nigeria after her introduction as 29th April was supposed to be her big day—traditional marriage.
She had also reached out to a few closed friends to ask them to join her bridal train for her upcoming wedding by the first week of January, 2026.
“Instead, her sudden death has left colleagues and loved ones overwhelmed with unspeakable grief and unanswered questions,” a post in a platform read.
Nurse Miriam is said to have served her profession with pride and commitment before her tragic end.
However, the actual cause of her death remains a mystery.

The cause of her remains a mystery because she is not a citizen of UK by blood. They’d have employed every techniques available to get to the cause of her demise. These foreign countries know what they’re doing to us.
My condolences to the persons affected, the immediate family, the suppose husband, the friends and coworkers.
