Bomb Explosion Kills Woman on Her Way to Plant it Beside ATM
On Saturday, Bomb explosion killed a 38-year-old woman in Thessaloniki, Greece while she was on a mission to plant it before the gate of a bank.
Meanwhile the injured woman was rushed to the hospital but she later died due to the severance of the injuries — authorities, during review, found out she had had criminal records of drugs, bribe, robbery and prostitution.
According to the police in their report, the woman whose identity is not well known was suspected to have been on a mission to plant the device by the ATM stand of the bank when it seemed something went wrong and it exploded in her hands.
“It appears that she was carrying an explosive device and planned to plant it at a bank’s ATM. Something went wrong and exploded in her hands,” a senior officer said.
The police said investigations are still ongoing to unravel suspected mystery behind the incident.
