Ikpeazu’s Aide Dumps PDP Amid Political Tussle In Abia State
Dr Okezie Ikpeazu’s former Chief Press Secretary, Onyebuchi Ememanka has officially resigned from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Appreciating the Party for its service to him —Ememanka stated that he expected a lot of strategising after it lost in the 2023 general election —and announced his resignation, on Thursday.
This is coming after the former secretary on Tuesday, commended Governor Alex Otti on the reconstruction of Port Harcourt Road.
Meanwhile, according to him— in a letter addressed to the party Chairman Amasato ward, Obingws LG, on thursday —rather than his expectations, he could only watch a lot of people who rode on the back of the Party leave.
The letter reads;
“I wish to notify you officially of my resignation as a member of the People’s Democratic Party. This is effective immediately.
“I will always be grateful to the party and its members for the platform I was given and for the cooperation I enjoyed while I served our people.”
Ememanka who had said he loves the work the Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu is doing and might stay with him — said he has not decided which party to join, yet.
