Man Proposes, God Disposes – JAMB Glitch Affected Centres’ Candidates to Resit Exam
The Join Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates whose centres were affected by the glitch would be retaking their exams.
According to the post on the board’s X page (formerly Twitter), it announced that 157 centres out of a total of 887 accredited UTME centres in Nigeria were affected by the glitch stating that “Man Proposes but God Disposes”.
The board also announced that all candidates who sat for their exams in any of the 157 centres would have to reprint their slips and start retaking the exam starting 16th May, 2025.
“Man Proposes, God Disposes, it has been established that a technical glitch affected 157 out of 887 centres in the 2025 UTME. This was basically responsible for the general low performance of the candidates scheduled to sit the exam in this centres.
“As such, all the affected candidates will be contacted to reprint their examination slips towards retaking their examinations starting from 16th May, 2025,” the post read.
Earlier, the JAMB registrar had, in tears, admitted that candidates of the 2025 UTME had low grades due to a technical glitch.
