45-Year Old Lecturer Commits Suicide
45-year-old Samson Philip, who was a lecturer at Taraba State College of Health Technology, Takum has allegedly committed suicide.
The incident which happened in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State has left residents in shock and questioning the real circumstances and/or why he had to go that far as he was found with a rope around his neck and a substance near his lifeless body.
According to the report, this tragic incident happened on Tuesday morning.
While the police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, Samson has already been laid to rest.
A pharmacist, Henry Kasimu, who shared photos from the burial questioned the possibility that Samson would have received any help if at all he had a challenge and decided to open up to someone.
“He might have think of sharing it with;
“A Pastor, it may end up being a topic for sermon.
“A close friend, but may be heard from a close friend to a close friend that is a close friend to the close friend to the Samson,” he wrote.
He added that perhaps, if he shared it with lady close to him, she might have asked “Are you not a man?”
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Taraba State Police Command, James Lanshen, has also confirmed the incident stating that he was waiting for a detailed report from the divisional police at Takum.
