On Tuesday, a southern Lebanese father and son, in Shebaa, were killed in an Israeli strike while another son was injured.

Confirming this incident, the Lebanese health ministry and state media described it as the latest deaths despite a November ceasefire agreement.

Last Friday, Israel had warned the Hezbollah targets across Lebanon that it would not stop attacking them. This was despite pleas from the Lebanese President, Joseph Aoun to end strike after an attack on Eid al-Adha holiday’s eve on south Beirut.

According to Aoun, the strike was a flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement entered by both countries on November 27. The agreement was aimed at ending the full-blown war between Israel and Hezbollah which had resulted to one year of hostilities.

In the previous attack, the Israeli military said it targeted underground drone factories but missed and hit nine residential blocks which were destroyed to ground level.

Meanwhile, In the report of the Tuesday attack by the health ministry of the state, the strike was executed with an Israeli military drone.

The ministry said; “An Israeli enemy drone carried out a strike in the village of Shebaa, killing two people and wounding one.”

However, the Israeli military is yet to make an official comment.
