The wife of President Bola Tinubu, Senator Remi Tinubu, has been conferred with the chieftaincy title of “Ugosimba 1 of Enugu”, on Tuesday.
Translating to “Jewel of Empowerment” in Igbo, the title was conferred on her by traditional rulers in Enugu State during Senator Tinubu two-day working visit to the region.

According to the elders, the title is in recognition of the first lady’s efforts in promoting women’s empowerment and social development across Nigeria.
