NAHCON Airlifts 13,589 Nigerian Pilgrims After Successful 2025 Hajj Program in Saudi Arabia

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has announced that it successful airlifted hundreds of pilgrims who had left to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from Sokoto and the Federal Capital Territory, on their way back after a successful 2025 Hajj operation.

This was disclosed in an official announcement by the NAHCON Command and Control Centre in Makkah, which was posted on the Commission’s official X handle on Saturday morning.

The report said, “Flynas flight, XY9082, departed Jeddah for Sokoto at 07:51hrs (local time) today. On board were 422 Sokoto pilgrims accompanied by 4 officials, bringing the total number of pilgrims airlifted so far to 13,589 across 32 flights.

“Subsequently, another Flynas flight, XY9022, took off from Jeddah, heading to Abuja at 10:33hrs (local time). This flight conveyed 425 FCT pilgrims along with 4 officials. With this latest departure, the overall total airlift for the 2025 Hajj has now reached 14,014 pilgrims on 33 completed flights.

“Our commitment to a smooth Hajj airlift remains unwavering. We are steadily progressing in conveying all Nigerian pilgrims to the Holy Land for their spiritual journey.

NAHCON works alongside different airlines and authorities to ensure safe transportation of all Nigerian pilgrims from its centre in Makkah.

It further reaffirmed its commitment to serving Nigeria and all intending pilgrims .
