Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Mojisola Meranda
has resigned, after 38 days in charge.
Her resignation comes two days after members of the house passed a vote of confidence on her leadership.
The Lagos State parliament has been embroiled in controversies since the impeachment of Mudashiru Obasa.
