Jos, Plateau State — Founder of Eternity Network International, Joshua Selman, has donated relief materials and cash valued at over ₦200 million to victims of the recent violent attacks in parts of Plateau State.
The donation was disclosed during a condolence visit to the Government House in Jos, where the cleric met with the state governor, Caleb Mutfwang, to express sympathy and solidarity with affected communities.
The support package reportedly includes food items such as large quantities of rice and other essentials valued at over ₦100 million, in addition to ₦100 million in cash assistance aimed at helping displaced persons and families impacted by the violence.
Governor Mutfwang described the intervention as timely and compassionate, noting that the state government has continued to provide support to victims across different communities, regardless of religious or ethnic background.
Speaking during the visit, Selman explained that the gesture was intended to bring relief and encouragement to those affected. He acknowledged that while the donation cannot reverse the losses suffered, it can help ease the burden on victims and demonstrate shared responsibility in times of crisis.
He also called for unity and collective efforts among citizens, leaders, and stakeholders to address insecurity and restore lasting peace in the state.
The recent attacks in Plateau have resulted in multiple casualties and displacement, prompting renewed calls for coordinated action to prevent further violence and ensure the safety of residents.
