Ebonyi Ghana-based businessman and philanthropist, Azubuike Daniels, popularly known as Zubitech, has stepped in to rebuild the home of an elderly woman whose house was recently destroyed by fire in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The incident, which left the woman homeless after her residence was completely burnt to ashes, drew widespread attention on social media, with many Nigerians expressing concern over her condition.

Following the circulation of the incident online, Daniels took immediate action by deploying a team to the community to assess the situation and meet with the victim.
During the visit, the team confirmed the extent of the damage and conveyed Zubitech’s’ commitment to fully replace the destroyed building.
The intervention includes the construction of a new house for the woman to restore her shelter and improve her living condition.
Zubitech said he was deeply moved by the woman’s situation and did not hesitate to approve the rebuilding project upon receiving verified details from his team on ground.
Residents of the community have welcomed the development, describing it as a timely and compassionate gesture that will bring relief to the elderly victim.
