A 34-year old woman has allegedly been arrested and charged for poisoning her 1-year Old baby and posting a video of the child in great distress just to get online donations and recognition.

Speaking to the press about the incident was the police and local media on thursday.

Hospital staff of QueensLand capital Brisbane called the police when they suspected that the baby was having a mental condition.

Inspector Paul Dalton of Queensland police told reporters that the suspect gave pharmacy drugs to the baby without prescription or medical authorization which has been proven to be true as she(the baby)tested positive for unauthorized medicines.

In his word; “She went to great lengths” to carry out her plans and the police had been investigating her since the hospital’s alert in October last year.

Speaking further however, inspector Paul said the police are yet to confirm the relationship of the victim and the culprit as mother and daughter contrary to the report by the local media.

“She was charged on Thursday with 11 offenses” the police said.

“She was accused to have raised just over Aus$60,000($37,000) via GoFundMe and we are working to return the money to the donors” detective Dalton said

Furthermore, speaking about how cruel her actions to her alleged child was, the police said there is no words to describe her actions.
