On Thursday, the Lagos state chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC), hosted a special prayer session for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
This session took place during the second Ramadan lecture held at the APC secretariat in Acme.
While thousands of Muslim faithful and party leaders were present, the event had two lecturers who delivered excellently; Imam AbdulHakeem Lawal, and Sheikh Abubakri Solaty.
During his lecture which centred one; “Holding forth to our religion in this perilous time”, Lawal urged Nigerians to support their leaders and wish their country well. He also prayed for president Tinubu’s administration and wished him success in office.
On the other hand, Solaty, the second lecturer who spoke on “Ramadan in the modern world: challenges and opportunities for Muslims,” advised elected officials to emulate Tinubu’s leadership style.
He added that Tinubu’s leadership has elevated many.
Solaty, who happens to also be a Cleric, led for the State Governor, Sanwo-Olu to be prayed for, he asked for divine guidance in his administration.
