Tinubu Yet to Fulfill Electioneering Promises – Mulade Cautions Political Jobbers and Praise Singers Against Distraction

Niger Delta environmental and human rights activist, Chief Sheriff Mulade, has stated that President Bola Tinubu has not fulfilled his promises during the 2023 general election —urging praise singers and job seekers to quit praising him.

According to Mulade who happens to be a titled man of the Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West LGA, Delta State(Ibe-Sorimowei) — the praises pose as a distraction to the president hindering him from fulfilling his promises to the led.

In his statement on Monday, he said that all the praises and endorsements which he described as “mischievous” — were superficial and are driven by personal interests rather than genuine concern for national development.

Mulade further cleared that the president is just barely 2 years in office and the praises are not needed as he needs to focus and fulfill his electioneering promises.

“It is imperative to state that the President is barely two years in office and has not delivered on his electioneering promises. Yet, he is being distracted by individuals promoting selfish interests rather than focusing on the needs of the masses.

“Praise singing and mischievous endorsements by political jobbers are not helping Mr. President—they are distractions he does not need at this time,” he said.

While he advised the president to concentrate on the Renewed Hope Agenda to tackle critical issues such as insecurity, economic hardship, poor governance, and the oppression of ordinary Nigerians, the activist called on politicians to halt campaigns for the 2027 general election which would not happen untill 2 years time.

Mulade further cleared that rather than the distractions, the president only need to fulfill his electioneering promises to the citizens to be able to win the 2027 election.

He concluded by urging Nigerians to remain focused and prioritize national interest as against personal gain.
