First Hair Attachment Brand Produced in Igboland

Sunny Peace Industries, is a haircare product manufacturing company based in Oba, Anambra State.

The company’s haircare products including its attachments are hot sales not just in Nigeria but across so many African countries.

What is surprising is the company’s rapid growth from a trading company into one of Nigeria’s biggest manufacturers of hair attachments and professional haircare.

Sunny Peace currently produces over 12 haircare products, including Lazina shampoo, conditioner, hair relaxer, and its flagship product, Ajibota hair attachments.

According to a research, the company is among the pioneering companies to begin local manufacturing of hair attachments, a product category hitherto imported in Nigeria. It is adjudged the first in Igboland.

The company’s move has positioned Anambra State at the center of a growing local beauty manufacturing sector.

Apart from the Ajibota hair attachments, the Lazina product line has gained strong market traction. The products are now distributed across Nigeria and to customers outside the country.

One of the most significant things about Sunny Peace is proof that products Nigerians once assumed could only be imported can be manufactured here in Nigeria with high quality.

The fast growing beauty company is owned by an entrepreneur from Ebonyi State who has built his manufacturing base in Anambra.

During the administration of former Governor Willie Obiano, the company signed a $1 million investment deal with the Anambra State Government to expand production capacity.

With more than a dozen products in its portfolio and continued expansion, Sunny Peace is becoming a case study in how local manufacturing can scale when supported by homegrown enterprise.
