All Progressives Congress, Nigeria’s ruling party has urged Nigerians to make wise decision come 2027 and ensure that PDP doesn’t come back to power.
APC made this appeal speaking of the Peoples Democratic Party as a political platform that is gradually going into extinction.
Bala Ibrahim, the National Publicity Director of the APC, in an interview with PUNCH on sunday, disclosed this.
“Nigeria is still suffering from the rot of the 16-year misrule of the PDP. That party is gone. Are these the clowns people are taking seriously to rule this country again? Believe me, this is just the beginning. We at the APC are enjoying the entertainment.” He said.
Regarding PDP as a party that knowns not how to properly manage anything including themselves, Ibrahim said their being out of power is God’s way of rescuing Nigerians.
During the interview, Ibrahim was asked his thoughts about allegations from many critics that APC is involved with the PDO’s crisis including other political parties. However, he said that APC was/is in no way involved in the crisis of other political parties stating that they are not even staying close as (according to him) the crisis is happening in Wadata Plaza (PDP headquarter) which is not close to APC.
“They simply don’t know how to administer anything and they cannot. Who among the protestants is a card-carrying member of the APC? Who among the people causing the crisis is claiming allegiance to APC? None. It is within them.” Ibrahim said.
